Car crashes due to drunk driving can be prevented. Any person who has consumed alcohol should think twice before driving. The "designated driver" program has helped prevent injuries much alcohol-related traffic and death. Car crashes people do their living expenses, and drunk driving is a breach penalty.
Several measures have been adopted in the United States to reduce these deaths drunk driving. Several checkpoint run by local and state police are always monitored for drunk drivers. Punitive laws have been introduced to limit drunk driving, especially when the kids in the car. People who get caught driving under the influence of losing their license for several months, depending on the number of violations. As per law, bar or host may also be responsible for any damages caused in a car accident to serve alcohol to people already drunk.
In some cases, accidents are caused by pedestrian or cycling due to drunkenness. The driver is not liable in such a scenario.
